Oligo stands for Oligodendroglioma — a rare, slow-growing brain tumour that, when it develops in the occipital lobe, doesn’t just threaten life. It disrupts the very way the brain sees the world. The eyes work perfectly. But the tumour creates a roadblock deep in the neural pathways, scrambling the pictures the brain tries to read. Sight becomes unreliable. Reality, distorted. Not because of what the eyes see — but because of what the brain can no longer process.
